Thursday was a perfect day, or the most fun that I have had this semester. It all hinged upon a noncommittal whim, upon we, stressed out about the impending finals, jumped aboard quickly and firmly. And thus, sojourning to Tanah Merah, to feel the sand beneath our feet with the waves lapping at our toes and the wind tussling with our hair and the sea-salt breeze wafting through and invigorating our every organ, was a done deal within five minutes. Even if it meant getting only two hours' of sleep and waking up at 7am and an hour-long train ride, it was worth it many times over, for both the tranquility and marvelous company. ( Below the cut are some snapshots. )
