I am currently feeling extremely down. Just when I thought school life was all peachy- found a group of four funny friends, a not-super-but-okay-cute eye candy and desired combination- it all came crashing down on me. Turns out that NJC cannot accomodate my subject combi after all and I have to transfer to S11 pronto. Please tell me it isn't true. Although OG 13 isn't extremely bonded or enthusiastic, I still feel like I am part of the group. Let me go back to the start of week 2 of orientation...

Day 4 was quite a fun day. It was the day when we found out who would be our classmates for the next few weeks. I felt a twinge of sadness when OG 20 had to spilt up. Yin Wai, Suet Hoon, Shi Hui, Jing Wen, Vanessa and Christabel were wonderful friends. It's so fun to bicker and mock-fight Yin Wai, complain with Suet Hoon, talk to Christabel and ecetera. I was starting to really loosen up and and go crazy with them and it was certainly a disappointment when we were sorted into different OGs. Here's the good part though: Vanessa and Ryan were also in OG 13 with me! (!!!) We weren't in Soterios this time around, however. It is now AGORIX ALL DA WAY! Hahaha.. AGORIX's walk-in presentation was one of the best I think. Really. And my stance is not solely based on the fact that the dance featured a snippet of Super Junior's DON'T DON. (!!!!) Heheh. The other gang walk-ins were pretty cool as well but AGORIX's stood out in my memory more.

Moving on, our Civics tutor seems like a strict person but who also knows when to lighten up (a smidgen). There are only 21 people in OG 13. It is a little unsettling to see only three rows of desks and chairs in a classroom. Mass dance was great fun, as usual. Then gang bonding. Hahaha the AGORIX House captain is so funny. He is very auntie-like haha. And since I like shouting my lungs out, I enjoyed learning the cheers very much. :D

The highlight of Day 5 is the Station Games, of course. It was fun to run around the school and cheer at every station. Some games were on the boring or -_-" side but it was generally okay. It is a pity, however, that we didn't play the really gross and wet games. Would have been more fun. Then then, Polar Bear and Do You Love Your Neighbour. Mass Dance was tons of fun, especially so since we did Hairspray's You Can't Stop The Beat. That song is pure crack- it makes me want to jig my head and shake around instantly haha. After that, I attended the Genshiken meeting. It was not quite what I had expected but still interesting nonetheless. At first, I was intimidated by the prospect of reviewing and criticising the finer points of anime, because I had never really done it before, but the atmosphere at the club was rather relaxed and easygoing so yeah, I will join it. There is a prospect of cosplaying as well. I hope it's not Shaman King however. Looking back, SK wasn't that great a series to warrant my purchases of its VCDs. I want to cosplay as Elizabeth from Gintama hahaha. (^_^)v

Today, other than that big downer, was enjoyable as well. Maybe not in that our-OG-is-so-rahrah! kind of a way, more like strolling-and-laughing-with-friends yeah. We skipped quite a few stations in total but we didn't care too much. Vanessa, Grace, Amanda and Jing Xi are so much fun to talk to. We have alternative names as well. Vanessa's is Joanne, Grace's is Jay/Jane, Amanda is Kristy, Jing Xi's Vanessa and I am Sam. Hahaha it so happened that we thought our faces and personalities suited those names. Grace is so NICE haha. Xiao Yun is adorable and so is Jia Liu. Ming Liang, Albert and Puo Nen are rather nice to talk to as well. We did alot of walking in Bugis. The Jurong East zone wasn't too bad, though. There was what, taupok, moving in a circle with laces together, charades, fairy tale retelling which was hilarious because of the gender changes, passing a kit-kat down a line hahaha then some smartass decided to start biting some off it until it became really short when it was Noel's turn haha, spinning around outside Science Centre and in between, all the talking, laughing and alphabet games while walking. Twas fun, yeah. Walked around, stoned and played 5-10 while waiting for the other teams to trickle back. As I had expected, we didn't win anything haha. Went out for OG dinner at Coronation after that. Things only started getting more fun when we went to Island Creamery for dessert. Sat on the low kid stools as we all huddled around two stools-turned-tables. Laughed and laughed as we played the I Have Never game before we left at 8.30pm. And that wraps up Day 6.

ARGH. I really hope that I can stay in the same class. Sucks, however, that I can't take History. Strange, I have only known the rest for 3 days yet, on the way back home today, my thoughts were all dark and gloomy because of the switching of OGs. Ah, I can only hope for the best when I find Mrs Lew tomorrow. Please please, let Ming Liang and I stay put in S13!! It is late now, till another time.

Yup yup, that's why.
Nah I don't think so. Anyway, I couldn't manage to find my old Civics Tutor to ask. :(
But things are good now so yeah :)
