Mooooon Reeeeveeer~~

methrowrockI'm liking my class more and more and more. :D
Today was the first day of lessons and I enjoyed it, strangely.
It is a refreshing change after weeks of rotting my brains out.
I have much to buck up on, thanks to the wasting away however.
Still, it is exciting to have something so tangible and concrete to set sights and base goals upon.
I may change my mind tomorrow, though, because I will be facing Maths instead of darling Chem and notsobad Bio.
Soccer tryouts are on tomorrow- I ish sho excited!
And fearful at the same time, especially considering my sad state of fitness. :(
Taste of Tea is a wonderfully imaginative and vivid film but I can't seem to sit still long enough to finish it off totally hais.
Breakfast At Tiffany's was nice enough but I can't say I like it very much. True, it was beautifully filmed, the music well-set and the costumes were gorgeous too. But it was overly Hollywood-ized and much of the poignancy in the book was lost in the process of adaptation. I didn't like the Holly Golightly that Audrey Hepburn portrayed as well. She was maddeningly affected and forced in the role, as if she was deliberately churning out flights of fancy to suit her whimsical image. Perhaps it is irony to highlight the fact that Golightly is, though a real phony, a fake at heart, with all her whimsy conjured up by posturing. Empathized much more with the Golightly in the book, who seemed more natural and at ease, as a result.
I am now deciding if I should watch Gone With The Wind, which is a whopping 4 hours long.
Mysterious Skin, which I am currently in the midst of procuring, is first on my list though. Joseph Gordon-Levitt! :D
Anyway, time to revise Bio and Chem notes now. (^_^)v
But before that, a chapter of Freakonomics, which is a really absorbing and informative read.
