methrowrockMy mother is the ultimate Adam Lambert fan. After weeks and weeks of following American Idol, this was the text message I received at 1005 this morning: "The one who is not Adam won. :-( Very sad. ;-(" HAHA. Her whole-hearted dedication is admirable; there is only Adam and notAdam. Having said that, WHY NOT ADAM!? It's a Mad World out there. (Punning with music&lyrics on AI has become Dilys' and my favourite pastime. We find it kind of funny, We find it kind of sad. :D)
Anyway, what is the point of all these minute epiphanies, all these small triumphs? In the end, I am just trying to explain away and/or compensate for the banality and/or tedium of days. :/ I learnt a new word today: "parochial". How befitting.
