Well, the past few days were not for the faint-hearted. Eespecially today, which was D-Day. Doomsday. But it was not that gloomy, after all. I'd get to that part later, however, so far now..

Monday was rather dreary. Two Bio, two GP and THREE freaking Chem periods stuffed into the day which started at 8am and ended at 4.30 pm. Fortunately, there was Contact and PE to liven up things a little. Okay, Contact was just a time for slacking and chatting but PE was really fun. Initially, I was "arghhh" about the prospect of having PE under the blazing afternoon sun but the PE teacher went easy on us this time. 1 round, that's all, wahaha. And then, captain's ball, wheehee. LOYFATT SUCKS, HAHAHA. Yeah. Mrs Kong, our Chem teacher, seems like a good sport as well, despite her stern and fierce exterior. Oh and Miss Wong, Bio teacher, is extremely nice and patient. Giant mutant structure hahaha. GP was ah, fine. Miss Wan is probably the kind who would grow on one over time. I'm utterly afraid of writing essays now though. :/

Anyway, Tuesday then rolled around. Swopped uniforms and I became a Crescentian for a day. Walking around in a blouse and half-skirt is so 自在- I can kick around and not be restrained in my movements! Urgh, I'm not too fond of my Math teacher, who also happens to be my Civics tutor. "Do you want to talk OUT.... SIDE?" BWAHAHAHA. It was hard to keep the laughter from bursting out. It would have been so rude otherwise. Then there were 2 free periods which we spent in the library. Bio and Chem were alright. PE was fun again. (^_^)v That probably won't be the case next week, however. Went for Genshiken with Hian Kek and Sze Wai after PE. Forgot how much fun the Haruhi dance was. Hian Kek is my yaoi mentor, in charge of leading me further and further astray hahahaha. Listened to the seniors' schedule of events for the year. It sounds packed but fun. I really want to go to the cosplay event this Saturday but but but I have the Chingay rehearsal on as well. Yes, they have rehearsals for ushers -_- Geraldine is going as Suzumiya Haruhi, kakkoii nee! I simply can't miss that heheh.

Moving on, there was double Econs and double Bio plus GP and CAAL on Wednesday. Econs takes hard thinking to understand but it is really fun in a challenging way. I'll probably fail the subject but ah, that doesn't take anything away from it. Scarcity, choice, fluctuations and flexibility, whoo. Spent lunch plus free period talking and laughing with Dilys, Clarice, Jie Ling, Sze Wai, Hian Kek, Nara and Qiao Wei. They are great to talk to. Sze Wai was super funny with the toilet incident HAHAHAHAHA. You see, she came out of the toilet cubicle with her skirt tucked into her SHORTS HAHAHA. And since it was a Crescent skirt, it was wide and flowy and it made a large POOF behind her HAHAHAHA. Hian Kek and I couldn't stop laughing when we saw it hahahaha. Dilys and Clarice also. HAHAHAHA Sze Wai is so unglam. Serves her right- she keeps stroking people with a pervy expression hahahaha. Chinese was rather interesting because Zhou laoshi played 2 Jay Chou songs in class which meant a spontaneous karaoke session for me. He reminds me of a male version of Mdm Quek. :D What was not fun, however, was how far and how quickly the standard of my Chinese dropped. :( After double Chinese was CAAL and we spent it camped in LT 2. Mr Lee encouraged us to lie, akira shockkk! Anyway, spent the time trying to decide where to go for Friday's class outing. Someone behaved obnoxiously as usual urgh. But never mind him. Twas fun talking to/listening to Sze Wai and Hian Kek. :)

The real fun started only after school ended though. MASS DANCE! It was a good workout man hahaha. And we painstakingly learnt the dances so that it is only right that we do it more often haha. Till The Dawn, You Can't Stop The Beat and Summer Nights. WHOO. After dancing it over many times, we sat down around the speakers and emo-ed. Nah, Dilys and I started playing a no-holds-barred version of Pepsi Cola which was super thrilling hahahaha. Can't remember what we did after that though. There was the I Never, I Did, Truth & Dare and don't know what else. Dilys and I then scared Sheng Hui in the toilet HAHAHAHA. Dilys's laughter is really laughter-inducing. She sounds as if she's having hiccups. "How to breathe while laughing??" HAHA. It was... fun. Hahaha my vocabulary is so limited, argh. Danced some more and played "volleyball" and "football". The highlight of the latter was seeing North's shoe sail off into the distance in a clean arc, and not the ball HAHAHA. Evening then descended and we went up to the crest to eat pizza. I wasted 20 minutes listening to a damn boliao story told by Wei Wen. Lame jokes, ghost stories, personal tales, the usual fare of group dinners. Thankfully, Jie Ling and I went to the toilet next to the "haunted" toilet before we heard the story. On a whim at about 8.30, we decided to go to the haunted toilet. Just standing in and looking down the dark hallway leading to the toilet was scary enough. We were huddled in a bunch and standing in the light. Then, Jonathan, that smartass, had a brainwave and played this weirdass, freaky, offtune ringtone which of course, made us panic and scream like nuts. Actually, we wouldn't have clamoured as much, if not for Luthur and his really loud shriek (on purpose), which led North to yell in shock and created a chain reaction. Looking back, it was really funny hahaha. In the end however, nobody dared to go to the toilet... except Wei Wen, who went alone..!! So Geraldine and I followed him. We went all the way but I didn't dare to look at the toilet hahaha. Nobody else wanted to go so we all went down to the canteen. And because the guys didn't want to walk to the other side, they used the girls' toilet, something which I found highly amusing haha. Left by the main gate, which was a long long walk to the bus-stop. By then, it was already 9+ so thankfully, Dilys's parents gave me a lift to West Mall, before I hopped on 66 back. Yesterday was a great day. :)

Yup and today was THE DAY. The day that would decide our fates for the next two years. How dramatic, no? We were all feeling jittery by assembly, which was at 8.30. Can you imagine the torment of having to sit through Econs and Math tutorial!? Mrs Chee and Mr Lee could so they pretty much let us do whatever we wanted. We couldn't pay attention anyway. Especially since the Crescentians started receiving news that their MSG was 9pointsomething and that they had good English results. Then Cat High and their 9.5 MSG. And the girls in blue- nothing, nada, zilch. ARGHHHH. We all expected the worse, since there wasn't any positive hub-bub. Tried blocking out all the nerves by talking to Hian Kek and Sze Wai. Laughed over Sze Wai's obiang/disneyish pop playlist HAHA, talked about anime, played games. Chop Chilli was supaaa funny. Then dismissal and we all crowded in the canteen. I finally know which guy is the Nanhua prom king! Not bad, not bad hahaha. :) Waited for Claire and six of us- Shi Hong, Clarissa, Claire, Huishan, Geraldine and I walked to the HCI bus-stop, where we waited for Elissa and co. Met alot of SC people there. Took bus to Coro then took bus back to NJC upon realizing my absent-mindedness before taking bus back to Coro again. Damn tiring.. Met Tiffany, then Jia, then Grace and finally, Rachel. Eat eat, talk talk, panic panic before heading to SCGS.

At SCGS, it was catch-up time with schoolmates, whom we have not seen for at least 2 months. It was wonderful to go back. I had forgotten how warm the atmosphere is. Compared to 800+-per cohort NJC, SCGS seems very close-knit, with only 280+ in a level. "Hello!", "How's xxJC?", "Was orientation fun?", "What CCA are you joining?", "Shit, damn scared!", and ecetera ecetera. Headed to the primary school hall at 2pm. (4-3-2-1, Listen to my heartbeat: BOMBOMBOMBOMBOMBOM!!!! HAHA) The atmosphere was tense. Tiffany was squeezing Jia, as was I. Then, the breakdown of statistics. The mood seemed to lighten up upon the announcement of the improvements in number of distinctions for quite a few subjects. But no, laoshi and her stern expression did not bode well. Restlessness increased, fidgety-widgety, as the teacher went through the JAE procedure. (SHITSHITSHIT,I'MGONNAGET11.ICAN'TGET11.SHIT11,11,11,11!) Finally, Aletheia stood up (SHIT11) and walked towards the table. I squeezed Jia's hand even harder. Then Ann (11), then Tiffany (PLEASE10), then Jia (SHIT11), then me (OMGREALLY11SHIT). Then a string of "ONE"s mixed with "TWO"s, with the latter appearing to outnumber the latter. (SHIT11OMGI'MSODEAD) One, two, three, four, fivesix, seveneight... "OMG I GOT 8 POINTS!" then pause. "8 points? No, cannot be." My hands were already shivering by then. I kept recounting and recounting but I couldn't quite believe it. Until Grace tore Form A open for me. It was really 8. I heaved a sigh of relief, broke into a wide wide grin, as the thought of staying in NJ sped through my head. All around me though, drama was occurring. Tiffany broke down when she found out she got 7 points, that toot. She's like a tap hahaha. Jia improved by a whopping 15 points. Grace got at least 7A1s. Rachel did better than what she had expected. In fact, most of 4GR did really well. The highest score I know so far is only 14. Even Miss Beh said the performance of our class exceeded expectations by alot. 4GR IS V.I.P. man. :)

In fact, SCGS did pretty well on the whole. Saw many many more delirious, glowing faces than sad ones. Top scorer in Singapore: Pearlyn Ler. Top Chinese student: Chen Yanjun (my S2 OM group! 必须炫耀一点关系吗。^^) It was a day when all emotions melded into each other to form a burning ember of idunno, being alive and not merely existing. The juniors came down later. It was great to see all of them. <3 They'd be the pioneer batch of the one-intake system and because of that change, their prelims will start in August. Hais. It didn't seem that long ago when we sat in the Khoo Audi, watching the 06ers receive their results.

Anyway, went down to the gym washroom with Tiffany later. Called and messaged around. It seems that most people in S11 are staying on, yippee. Talked talked and I, being the nice person that I am, accompanied Tiff to SA, before taking the bus back home. All the way, I kept reflecting on my results. It seems too good to be true. All distinctions- 4A1s, 4A2s. Yes, I got an A2 for Higher Chinese, something which struck me dumb for a long time. How was that even possible? Brilliant isn't it, I have identical grades for Chinese and Higher Chinese. -_-"' I was pleasantly surprised by English, something which I thought I screwed up pretty badly, considering the hastily concluded essay and stammering oral. Bio and Chem grades were acceptable because I remember how lousy and stupid I felt after completing those weirded-out papers. Overall, I'm pretty happy with my score. I'm glad I didn't disappoint my parents. My mother treaded the "good grades are just a bonus, it doesn't matter as long you did your best" path, which was understanding of her, but it's time I did something that would make her a little proud. Hope I achieved it. :)

I go into details far too much nowadays. It often takes me hours to post an entry hais. I can't believe Heath Ledger is dead. The news was so sudden, so unexpected and he was so young, so promising. Life. Alright, time for bed now, good night.
