It has been a heck of a week. One of the busiest, most frustrating and most turbulent weeks I had ever experienced. In a short span of 7 days, I typed out 2 proposals, designed 1 poster, 1 speech, 1 hasty redraft of a proposal, 1 2-minute video- or at least part of it-, sat for 3 tests that I didn't study for, averaged 4 hours of sleep per night and much more. But, it wasn't that stressful actually. I had time to do things but somehow, I always find myself spilling over to facebook, livejournal and other sites. And though this may be oversaid, friends helped out a lot too. Be it by stressing out together or offering help, or simply a "you can do it!", every little bit counted towards saving my sanity. And my Pocky haha. Yup, so thank you, thanks to them. And now, in greater detail..

So, enrichment week was pretty much a boring affair. One exception was the Aerospace Medical workshop on Thursday. That was the bomb man. We were ferried to Singapore Aeromedical Centre, some RSAF building situated in the far east and learnt about hypoxia, G LOC (G induced loss of consciousness), hypobaric chambers, Doyle's Law and goodness what else. It was cool because everything seemed so foreign and exclusive, authorised personnel only. We saw videos of how hypoxia could affect humans, heard about how to eject properly (elbows in, fists clenched to prevent splicing of limbs) and how pilots would have burst arm blood vessels that would not subside for two weeks after the G-force test. Dilys, Fang Tian and I were mostly "ooh"ing and "aah"ing at every thing we saw- "the centriFUGE is HUGE!" haha. And the best part: SIMULATOR RIDE. I regretted not trying the turntable (where they sit you in a revolving box) but the other simulator was really interesting as well. Basically, one is seated in a cockpit that would revolve, and one would have to level the cockpit. It is hard to explain in written words. But, it was aweeesomeee. When I pitched it down, I felt like I was in free-fall, which was a peculiar feeling. By some stroke of luck, I managed to level the cockpit so the instructor gave me another try. Woweee! x2 haha. After that, it was "tea" so we three stuffed our face full with lemon biscuits heheh. So that was Thursday.

The rest of last week was spent in a permanent state of stress. Worried and worried about the 80 WORD WRITE UP!, A4-sized photo, plastic wrapping, PROJECT ELECTIONS PROPOSAL!, CAMPAIGNING CENTRAL PROPOSAL!, GROUP CAMPAIGNING VIDEO! and editing of the PE proposal. All these headings were jumping around frenetically in my head last week, screaming and shrieking in striking red, bold capital letters, demanding for CONSTANT VIGILANCE! Hahaha. Anyway, I am glad to be past all that.

Monday was a bad day of sorts. Morning: gathered in the amphi by 7am for Council. Their way of doing things made me laugh- what's with the military boot camp style? I don't get it. At least, not yet. It is time for a revolution. Rock-climbing was next. It was boring. Maybe because I did not participate actively in it, but.. yeah. I am hopeless once you take me off the ground. I need TERRA to survive! Hahaha. The company was okay but, meh. It was a meh day.

Tuesday was alright. Soccer. <3<3<3 The super funny "I love kopitiam, SHIOK SHIOK" song. <3<3 Taking the same bus home with Sidekick. <3 Rushing homework. :( Rushing/not finishing Econs revision. :(:( Rushing to complete video. :(:(:( Dipole moments cancel out each other= no net dipole moment= was not particularly charged.

Wednesday was better. All I can remember is going over to RGPS for CAAL CIP. ARGHH. I miss the primary school so much. I never knew what a wonderful, pretty, rustic school I had. The memories came flooding back- cheesy sausage, 50c Coke jia Ice Lemon Tea, rusty&creaky netball cage, glass stained classroom signs, shallow&polluted pond, the librarylibrarylibrary! where I used to run to from the clocktowed staircase, the 6F balcony!, fitness corner where I learnt how to cartwheel and ecetera. It felt great to go back. The kids, however, weren't as inviting. They were pretty withdrawn and 'dao'- yes, 17-year-olds were intimidated by 12-year-olds!- but they slowly warmed up. Funny fact #1: Cheryl Heng could blend right in with them. Funny fact #2: We were more excited to play Squirrel & Tree than the P6 students HAHA. But but, I like my buddy. I think her name is Shirlyn. Heheh, ate at the canteen after that. MISS DA FOOD! The stall vendors are all the same, which is a nice thing to see. :)

Thursday was okay too. I was a walking zombie that day, thanks to a late night- msn-ed with Jonathan until 2am. Shi fu is a crazy person haha. Dozed off during Econs test but otherwise, meh. Campaigning Central was FUN! My nerves were on edge all day so it felt really good to have that obstacle run over and knocked flat. Our group's campaigning didn't turn out as bad as I had feared. I thought people would be bored by our cheers+ intro+ shiok shiok song but it turned out differently. It wasn't wow, but it wasn't zzz either, so yeah. :DD It was funny. And satisfactory. :D Cowboy was there~~ x) Chemistry was a funny funny affair because Mrs Kong was kinda nuts. "Uh-uh, uh-uh, HAAAAH!?" HAHAHAHA. And the "DO YOU UNDERSTAND!" in a pleased voice, complete with \/ victory sign, until she realised our smiles, whereupon she subtly closed the gap between her fingers and hoped that we would not notice. HAHAHA. I like Chemistry. :D

Yesterday was phew, TGIF! Hahaha. Chem & Math test fizzled but soccer! Yes, I like trainings alot. The people, the drills, the most things! Hahaha. Econs test results were fine. I'm surprised that I met the average of the class, considering that I only read up to page 13 of 1.1 notes. Still, you betcha I'm gonna work harder! I want to do either H3 Chem or Econs so yeah, I can't afford to slack off now. Sidekick was on the same bus again. :D Went to IMM with Dilys to get dustbins. The superlative "most likely to embarrass herself in public", in her case, is well-earned. Her fall was so funny HAHAHA. And we went nuts in Daiso, trying to decide the sophisticated but small black bin or the big but curlycurly bin. We tossed coins, went through alot of trouble to compare sizes with bins on the highest shelf, enacted reactions of people to the curlycurly bin HAHA. Eventually, we settled on the black ones and spent the rest of the time eating&eating.

Today was bin-painting and Fun-O-Rama. Meh and meh. Felt like an outsider throughout, though it was nice to bump into old friends. We waited 2 hours for the Haunted House and well, it was pretty worth it. Screaming, then laughing at our screaming; knowing that that black figure will leap out at you but screaming anyway; clutching and fishing for one another's hands; head perpetually cocked to see far with minimal movement- just being squealy, giggly, scared schoolgirls heheh. Why can't NJ be as fun as AC? Hais.

So that was my week. Arghh, I wanna watch Be Kind, Rewind and that animated Japanese mafia show! And Breakfast on Pluto too, which my sister watched before me. :( I love love love 楊宗緯's voice. It's so strong and bendy- it reminds me of a wand with willow and unicorn hair. It just sounds like that humph. Dinner calls, till another time.
