She watched me carefully, then did a laugh, as though to say: 'We're still friends, aren't we?' But I didn't find anything to laugh about in this last remark of hers . I just picked up my book and walked off without another word.

And so, the holidays have rolled around. It is about time. Five full months have flown past since that day I crossed the red gate, over which huge red ants scuttle across barbed wire and metal fencing, and into that old, washed-out building my sister, a former student, warned me from choosing. I didn't cross the gate alone, of course. We entered as sky-blue pinpricks among the swath of starched white and yolk yellows. Then the separation as I headed to the hall alone to find OG 20. Right sector, front few rows, third from the center aisle- I remember the exact seating position. On my left, two guys (later known to me as Yang Sheng and Ryan) were talking and on my right, a girl chatting away with her RV friends. I felt lonely, uncertain and helpless. I remember fiddling with my phone in an attempt to look busy. Tiffany messaged back to say SA was so much fun. Jia replied to say home was so fun. I was determined to have fun too so I gathered up my courage to talk to the girl. And surprisingly, it went pretty okay. That girl was Emily, the first friend I made in NJ. :D And the days turned out well from then on. :D

Anyway anyway, it sure doesn't feel like the holiday season since I have to go to school nearly every day for lectures and make-up lessons. Biangzz. But that's next week so let's talk about this week. And the biggest event this week would, of course, be Investiture.

But before I proceed with the main meat, Invest, there was the whole week to get through. I can't remember much of it. It was all a haze of homework, more work, late nights and tiringwork. Thank goodness, Monday was a holiday. Tuesday was 10 rounds plus soccer, wowee. Wednesday was when only four of us- Melinda, Qiao Wei, Cheryl and I- headed to RGPS for CAAL. The students were adorable, though, being so energetically high and silly, even putting up a mock report of the situation in Sichuan, which grew quite tiresome after a while, though. Heh, dang, I always regarded myself as a children person. Oh well.. Thursday's GM was cancelled so soccer it was, ho yeah! 5 rounds of fartleks, whee. I'd take sprinting (with breaks) to long runs anytime. Then ballwork, which was fun as well. I made sure I was doing headers- the thing I'm relatively okay at- when Cinderella sashayed into school HAHA. Throughout the week, there were many crazy, siao, funny things that happened. It just so happens that these memories only rush up when I'm with the hilarious S11 people. I can never get enough of them. :D

Thursday afternoon was investiture full-dress rehearsal. It was hot, for one thing. We had to wear stockings- stockings!- throughout the entire rehearsal! And for a good part of the time, our thick, red, stuffy blazers. It was pretty fun though. Was standing next to Huishan throughout so you can imagine the crappiness that ensued. :D After the seniors left, we stayed bacxk to decorate the hall and IDEAS went high like a fly. Nithiya, Dian Feng, I, Maxine (extra #1) and Xiao Peng (extra #2) were in charge of sticking the clouds onto the stage. It was a fluffy, frustrating affair as both the clouds and the cotton kept coming off. But the day was saved, thanks to the tape raw material mass production line. We came up with an IDEAS song too, sorta. AYE AYE IDEAS! :D After the decoration was done, we headed to the canteen to revise the Council song. In between, Huishan and I became ghosts, singing eerie, high-pitched Chinese songs, scaring no one but ourselves HAHA. In the canteen, IDEAS came up with horribly dramatic and terribly lame dance moves for the song which was kinda cool in a kitschy way. AYE AYE IDEAS! : DD Finally, at about 10pm, we could go home and Qing Wei gave me a lift right to my doorstep, nearly anyway. Super shiokkkk can. All hail Qing Wei hahaha. After reaching home at about 10.30, I took about an hour to settle down to work. But it was too much to take so I fell asleep at 12am before waking up at 3am to rush out half of GP VA. Whoops.

From then on, school was a mad rush. Rushed to school, rushed to SL, rushed to the hall, rushed to get decorations into shape, rushed to ushering duty. HAHA, Huishan and I had prime positions at the porch before being chased away by the seniors. So off we went to the bookshop area, where we proceeded to be useless haha. We got so excited when a parent finally asked us for directions HAHA. And we nearly got to receive the VIPs, if not for another couple. But oh well.. Heh. Pretty soon, the investiture started and things were randy candy dandy. It went past in a flash and after that, we had to be tour guides. Phong and I were in charge of TPJC- Mae and Aisyah- and Ankit tagged along later. I felt outclassed in every way heh. But both of them were fun people. Left them at about 11 and went for phototaking session where the inner camwhores showed themselves heheh. It all ended at 12 so unwilling to drag ourselves to lessons, Mylene, Vanessa and Luthur and I loitered and dragged our feet across the school. Eventually, Luthur and I went for 5 minutes of Math hahaha.

Friday afternoon was then a mad rush to complete GP VA. Hian Kek's AWESOME! I owe her so much man. She helped me think of 10 questions and she did the structured ones, while telling me to do the MCQs. A friend indeed. Yaoi fans unite! Hahaha. So that was Friday and Invest day.

So that was pretty much my week. Saturday was Glenn Lim interview + onlinefor9hoursstraight day. Today was Teachers' Day ad-hoc meetup day which went okay. Gaah, too many things, too little time! I shall go off and admire my new camera now, terra. But before that, Gossip Girl~! No thanks to Estelle, with her warped logic that evil+evil=<3 but angmoh+indian=</3 hahaha.
