Somehow, the sound of cicadas reminds me of summer. (Ah, sunsoaked summer, days spent lounging lazily on the floor, waterhose fights and singing into the electric fan a la Osaka in Azumanga Daioh.) Which is stupid, really, because there is only ever summer in Singapore. It's absurd to be reminded about something that is omnipresent. I get overtly consumed by the worlds of anine sometimes heheh. Anyway, here's a little recap of the week.

Interesting title eh. Monday was soccer training day, whoo! We could finally train in school. This second-string treatment is frustrating but hey, hopefully things will work out soon. NJ, N2, N3! We'll live to slap them, left right center, with our medals. Hopefully. Anyway, training, whoots. I love training, period. The drills, the people, everything. But my basics are still in tatters, damn it. Fortunately, it's nothing more practice wouldn't solve. Eventually, we got sidetracked, as we always do, and just sat around shooting and goal-keeping. Hahaha somewhere along the way, Leena and Shiyun had a wrestling match, which was pretty entertaining, especially after Yi Tong and Si Hui tried to break them apart. After a long time, we ended training, had a phototaking spree with the Duckie Glasses, where upon all sorts of "cool" poses emerged. Then off we went to Plaza Singapura. The bus ride there was a funfunny talk with Liwen about eljay culture heh and with the others about prom. We had KFC at PS for lunch. That made me infinitely happy because I had a Zinger! Zing, zing, zing, ZINGER! It's silly to get excited over a mass-processed, preservative-laden fast food, I know, but hey, whatever gets me through the day, yeah. Next was a stopover at Spotlight, where we had alot of fun trying on props and oohing aahing over the smallest of things. Liwen's phototaking spam started there too heh. Then, it was on to some game shop, puzzle shop and icantrememberwhat. Just a whole lot of walking around and browsing. Shi Yun and I spent a long time poring over manga in one shop heheh. Left about 3 plus with Liwen . Westerners, whoo! x) Soccer girls, whoo!

Wednesday, then, was AYE AYE IDEAS day. Yup, it was time for JTS. And the location was New York New York. Hahaha I don't know what possessed me to have it there but no one disagreed so the seniors struck lottery heh. It was funny in the beginning, when Hui Shan, Kok Leong and Geraldine came and met me at Prints and we started stuffing the stars into the boxes. We looked manic, man haha. Then, we met the seniors and Dian Feng and Nithiya arrived, so we went to the "toilet"- which was really a cover for more stuffing of stars into star-shaped boxes. I can't describe what exactly happened well, but it was mostly laughing and laughing. Yeah. Ideas people are funny heh. We spent a long time there, about 3 hours. Played pool, bridge and stuffed ourselves full with deserts. The fondue and chocolate lake were especially sinful. Took a long long time to settle the bill, which eventually resulted in me becoming a New York New York member haha. It was time to exercise off some fats so destination next: arcade. Bishi Bashi! Daytona! Screaming and screaming! Hahaha that's basically it. Left, along with the rest of 41st Ideas. The train ride with Geraldine, Hui Shan and Kok Leong was funnyfunny. Then it was Grace's birthday celebration, whoo! Went to her house and watched Step Up. Then it was eyecandy sharing session over Friendster and Facebook hahaha. Cinderella got the brunt of laughs but oh well, I persist in my eclectic indie taste haha. Yup, it was great catching up with them all over again. :)

There were slots for studying in the week as well, but I never made full use of them hais. Three days to the first paper and I still don't give a damn. Perhaps the string of Us will wake me up. Anyway, today is the 20th of June, which can only mean...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, WANPING! :)

Have a great birthday and fulfilling year ahead! All the best for As later this year! Although for now, you should go celebrate it with a M18 movie heheh. About the letter, you'll find it in your mailbox uhh.. soon, once I get the postage stamps. :D Keep smiling! :)

Yup, so that's it, I'm out.
