The past week has been tiring. Managed to leave school before the sun set only one day out five. I'm going to die of Vitamin D deficency. The rest of the days were spent on Project Work, more PW, trainings, YEC tech run and Open Day painting sessions. But it was a life that buzzed busily with productivity, which left me satisfied so I can't complain much. YEC gave the chance to talk more to people I wasn't particularly close to, like Sheryl, Daniel and Mindy. The tech run was hella fun, what with Sheryl's crazy-high Indian dance, the exchanges of information hem-hem, climbing up the steel grid, Dian Feng's impersonations of a certain teacher and so on. The actual event was more of then same. Was planted in the canteen, along with Mindy and Molina. Played silly games (think, different laughing styles, staring competition) as we punched the tickets, doled out credits and distributed the freebies. It was interesting to observe people. Eventually, we all separated and Jasmine came! Whoah, haven't seen her in quite some time. She's the same outgoing, hilarious and abitembarrassing (:D) girl, albeit much much prettier now. Man, I missed her laughter aha. Went up to the hall with Tiffany, Jasmine and Claire later. It was a rather sad state of affairs but.. yeah. Then clean up, home and sleep. I'm a boring girl like that.

This is a rumination about something extremely trivial but, seeing as it has accompanied for well over five months now, the very least is to give it a proper farewell. From this week on, I am going C-free. Hahaha, and you were expecting something bigger? But, it was a rather big deal in everyday life. For everyday in the past five months, my mind has been occupied by the (occassional) thoughts of C, as my classmates would attest. The effort exerted on espionage missons, the neck cranings, the constant state of alertness, ecetera, it certainly made life more fun. Oh yes, I am a bored person to have devoted all that time. There would be no outcomes, I know, but still, it's a little rueful as it has grown into a habit. But since it is my nature to obsess compulsively, then conveniently forget and disregard completely, things will be, or in fact, are already fine. C will become an interesting anecdote used to illustrate the wasted energies of youth in time to come. It is back to more important matters at hand and the reawakening of old pleasures, such as reading. I had forgotten how nice it is to curl up on the sofa and read, read, read as the world rushes about, slapdash. You know, it is the representative frame of a solitary, unmoving object in the middle of fizzwhizz streams of traffic, as pellucid blue gives way to sullen indigo. Cold Comfort Farm, Lolita and The Age of Innocence, I've got my eye on you. And, films! Welcome To The Sticks and Burn After Reading are at the top of my to-watch list. PW should just go and die now, I want to be free!

So I finally finished Code Geass R2. The end was a tad disappointing. They had built up the climax for 2, 3 episodes and that was Zero Requiem? That was top-secret plan that Suzaku and Lelouch worked to accomplish? I'm sorry but it was a little simplistic after all the snazzy plot twists the writers had sprinkled throughout the series. There had to be sacrifice, definitely, to atone for all the sins. But focusing all the hatred and grudge on one person is not possible. There would always be people on both sides of the fence. And, how can one death atone for the millions that had died in wars and FLEIA warheads? How does one more death acquit Lelouch of all the other murders that he had committed? Yes, it was noble of him. But he was responsible for all the chaos, all the bloodshed. Yes, freedom, but at what cost? Then again, freedom allows one to voice their intentions, carry out their volitions and live, instead of existing as a coldly-named and dispensable 11. His motives were admirable but his methods of execution were deplorable. Still, I will miss Lelouch. He was an absorbing character, with so many different masks. An enigma, you could never guess his true objectives. But they would always end up explained as pure and well-meaning so you would go 'aww' and feel bad for doubting him. And his last words to Suzaku were thought-provoking.. Code Geass was a solid series, for sure. It had a tendency to veer into befuddled incredulity but, it was always enjoyable. Sayonara, Code Geass.

A series I would soon have to bid farewell to as well is Soul Eater. I LURVE SOUL EATER! Everything from the art direction, to the characters, to the fight sequences, to the tightly paced storylines, to the -.-" humour. Ganbatte nee! Shibusen's future rests on you guys.

And I must say, Natsume never fails to warm my heart. :)

Oh, there was training today by Mr Shyam. It was tiring, to say the least. I'm sorry for being such a disappointment. I will push harder, run more, catch up. You've got my word. Aja aja hwwaiting! Time for Family Outing love now, tata. Speaking of love, please check out 盧廣仲's 100種生活! He has a kickass falsetto, nice voice and a couldn't-care-less nerdy-chic style. Plus, a huge dorky grin a la Daesung. There's much to love. :)
