It has been a crazily hectic week. Ending rehearsals at 8pm, having dinners at 9pm, reaching home at 10pm, attempting to start work at 11pm, sleeping at 2am, waking up at 6am and napping at intervals through the day, depending on which lesson it was. Yeah, the days proceeded along in that vein. There were a lot of things to do, yet not exactly. I just didn't have time to do stuff. It was my self-proclaimed 'No-Homework-Week'. The real toil starts now, but stupid foolish me had to be possessed by another obsession: SHINee. Oh lordy lordy. It's Korean-mania all over again. But before we come to that, it is time to recap. :)

And that was basically how my week went. It was -oh oh, wait for it! here comes the all-encompassing summary- fun. Got to know a few people better this week, one of them being my fellow 'deejay' Mindy. HAHA, the constant shoving of the mike to each other, the cheery 'have a nice day!!' in unison, our propensity to embarrassing things that we think nobody else will notice (think, fighting over things to do in rehearsals, looking through papers to look busy, turning around to hide behind a pillar to avoid being picked for hot seat) simultaneously and bursting into laughter. Hella cool. All the same, I am somewhat glad that TDC is over. Finally, it is time to buckle down and study. Promos are in 17 days. (!) But first, some relaxation yeah.. :)

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want - good or bad. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

"Summer was gone and the heat died down
And autumn reached for her golden crown
I looked behind as I heard a sigh.
But this was the time of no reply.

The trees on the hill had nothing to say
They would keep their dreams till another day
So they stood and thought and wondered why.
For this was the time of no reply.

This week has been much less than ideal. Bombed the lecture test, disintegrated biology trial spa, obliterated chemistry spa yet barely prodded homework or revision. But, since things have been so screwed already, I have moved beyond caring. Heck, let's just see how this wreckage would burn up.

But I liked today. Kinda. The best bits? Arguing with Cheryl Heng (SRCH); Dilys sleeping in Math lecture and everyone's wide-eyed fascination; disturbing wavywavy about curlycurly; small talk with different people and understanding chemistry. Oh I know, I'm hopelessly shallow and that this madness cannot be sustained. But it is all in good fun, really. Besides, there's Simba now. HAHA nah, I don't care anymore. Playing it cool, yo.

It would be great if you could wake me up when September ends though.

Have I ever said how much I loved the weekend? It is the time to be alone, to chillax, to kick back, to slack and reflect about how friends have got your back. Sorry, I can't seem to get the wannabe amateur poet schtick out of my system. Too many things have been going on recently, but it has been a somewhat productive week, though it is only making up for lost time. I am barely keeping up with others. Still, I feel somewhat proud of myself. Train the eyes on the target, pull the trigger-lock and charge! There's only a month left anyway, so, commander, there's no need to stinge on ammunition. Just a bit more till soccer and anime marathons and booksbooksbooks and falala-worries-fizzle-in-the-air. Whoohoo.

But before that, one must still have time to enjoy a weeny slice of life right. Watched 12 Lotus yesterday night. Well, I didn't like it and that's even when I liked 881. The scripting was messy, the acting questionable, the plot derailed and crashed&burned halfway. It was as if Roystan Tan gave up and cut the tenuous fraying threads between scenes with grandma sewing scissors. My bladder yelled murder as well. It was disappointing, yeah. The stage pieces, the songs, the costumes, the dances were a joy though. They were wonderfully creative and undeniably local and that made it heartening. Magic Stone made me laugh like crazee HAHA, it's such a cringe-worthy spoof of home news. David Gan was a scream in his cameo as well. But it wasn't enough to make it worth what-felt-like-3-hours of sitting in a dark theatre and blanking out, when I could have been at home doing work or mugging. But it's okay, there's still time. I need and want to be a nerd, damnit.
