The Pursuit of Capital Letters

It has been a heck of a week.

This is one of the nights when I can't really be bothered to elaborate. Because that is the nature of days, a string of hilarious incidents and memorable punchlines beaded together. My life has recently consisted of the very awesome British show Skins. The characters are riveting to watch and the drama, simply absorbing. SID, SID, SID. :D And even better, Sid + Cassie. Hehe, till another time. Homework beckons. :/

There are only three more days before school reopens. The holidays have really gone past in a flash. It is scary to see time careening reinless and rash into the unknowable future. Somehow, though these days have been packed achockful of activities, there is always space left for breathing, time to perambulate peacefully across silted gold. But, there is little one can do about sandcastles by the shore, except to build them up again, so hold on to those plastic buckets, toy spades and sandwich flags. I am morbidly interested to see how crazy 2009 can get.

One major downer this week is that I haven't been to any trainings. Desaru took three days away, Orientation packing swallowed yesterday and walk-in rehearsal wolfed today down. However needy and dependent it may sound, life does feel a little empty without them. Can't wait for tomorrow. I got so desperate that I started kicking a shuttlecock around in the hall today. There are times when one has to choose, I know, but knowing that does not make the choice any easier. Ah well, time to do homework now. Toodaloo~

The euphoria of technicolour explosions and pyrotechnic starbursts have all but faded away. All that is left behind are mountains of plastick, redundant byproducts of human consumption and the hundreds of tonnes of carbon dioxide smothering the atmosphere, no thanks to ten minutes of oohs and aahs. I have the most dangerous moodswings. Just the thought of the coming months gives me splintering headaches. Orientation, soccer soccer soccer, Valentines, NTU MUN, It's In You, April Fools', ecetera ecetera, SATs again, prelims, then the pièce de résistance of our tertiary education: the A Levels. Many things on the plate, yes, but fret not, I am always one up for a buffet. Live to eat, don't merely eat to live. Besides, how can one remain down when one has the powdered company of sugarpop 雀斑? And thanks to my sister, I came to know of Lykke Li, who has some gorgeous songs too. Yikes, I was supposed to sleep two hours ago. Toodaloo!
